How can a poet write to recite, and recite to write? How can the body become a channel for the divine (poetry)? Using techniques from orators, actors and musicians, as well as poets such as Tongo Eisen-Martin, Susan Howe, Allen Ginsberg, etc. this workshop provides an insight into writing and reciting like a body that can access the depths of language for both secular truth (jargon) and spiritual momentum.
